
So, reporting at the moment is that several Democratic senators (including Schumer and Fetterman, at least) are planning on voting for the House’s free-money-for-fascism bill.
That would be a … mistake.
I’ve said this several times in the past few weeks, so I’m going to be short today: don’t do this.
Yes, without this bill the federal government will shut down (for certain definitions of “shut down” that mean no, it’s not actually shut down).
Let it shut down.
If that’s what the federal government is now, then we’re better off without it.
