First, Ukraine has more than enough problems of its own to deal with.
Obviously.
Ukraine needs all the drones and drone-warfare experts it has just to keep Russia’s troops occupied.
And yes, the U.S did help Ukraine with that invasion, although not nearly as much or as directly as it should have. We had signed a treaty committing to defend them, after all.
But that was a different U.S.; the Unites States of today has barely sent any aid to Ukraine at all:
Ukraine owes nothing to Trump, damn his name‘s United States.
Nothing.
Trump, damn his name‘s United States has spent the past year trying everything to get Ukraine to submit to Russia.
Of course Ukraine owes this United States nothing.
And that’s only looking at whether Ukraine should feel any obligation to help the United States out in general.
This war in particular is:
- insupportable under any rational morality
- unjustified under international law
- illegal under U.S. law
And it’s being waged against the captive population under an authoritarian regime that’s spent the past month murdering protesters.
Of course Ukraine shouldn’t help with that.
Stay home, Ukraine; use your resources to fight your own war.
Today’s United States doesn’t deserve it, hasn’t earned it and would just waste any help it receives anyway.
