You should read “‘Trump is aiming for dictatorship’. That’s the verdict of the world’s most credible democracy watchdog” in The Guardian.
Although it’s incorrect in the title.
Trump, damn his name is not “aiming” for dictatorship; he thinks he already has a dictatorship.
His toadies, many of whom live closer to, although still not actually in, the Real World, are aiming for dictatorship though.
And that’s probably close enough to not detract from the rest of the piece.
Because this nonsense seems to be happening all over the world.
It’s almost enough to make me accept the concept of the Zeitgeist; it seems that autocracy is the Spirit of the Age.
