Illegal, immoral and unseemly: DHS gets a trifecta.

This should come as no surprise for an administration soaked in the inky residue of “reality” TV gameshows.

And yet, somehow, I can still be surprised.

Apparently Kristi Noem and DHS think that it’s somehow a good idea to give out U.S. citizenship as a prize in a game show, and to profit off it:

I’m sure someone somewhere has proposed somehow that private individuals and companies should be allowed to profit from a contest to receive a government service before.

It’s not like we haven’t had absolutely idiotic dingbats in the country for centuries.

Just look at the John Birch society.

But I sure can’t think of any that have floated this sort of nonsense from a position of power.

Maybe Gingrich saying that poor kids should work nights as school janitors is close? At least he wasn’t suggesting making it competitive.

So, let’s all update our apocalypse bingo cards.

To recap: the United States has fallen, and it’s State apparatus is now in the hands of Artificial Intelligence cargo-cultists who want to run the country as a “reality” TV gameshow.

Every time I think that this cannot get more stupid and absurd, and every time I’ve been wrong.
